1927 Track T Hot Rod

Some cars are made for transportation. Some cars are made for racing. Some cars are made for work. This Track T Hot Rod was made for pure fun. This is a budget Hot Rod. It was built in the mid-1970s, but never finished until the 1990’s. It has a real old time feel about it. The body is hand laid fiberglass and was made in North Hollywood, California in the 60’s. It’s a copy of a Ford T Roadster. It has a GM Mercury Cruiser four-cylinder engine, aftermarket T Hot Rod frame, mid-50’s Ford brakes and suspension and a Corvair four-speed transmission (just the way they did them in the 1970’s). This car goes pretty fast and handles pretty good. It gives you that open air, small car feeling, much like riding a motorcycle. It comes with lots of collectible accessories and gets great gas mileage too.

As I look back on my entire life of automobile and motorcycle-ism, I see my epitaph. It sounds something like….” Here lies the creature of the wheel, lord of the infernal engine.”
