1928 Lincoln Five Passenger Sedan

This is a 1928 Lincoln Sedan. It has a custom body by Lincoln with a Dietrich designed windshield and body inspired by Dietrich. Lincoln had to pay $300 to use that windshield on each new car. In 1928, a brand-new Model T was $325. The triangular windshield was the beginning of getting away from the flat windshields. This was streamlining in its infancy. This model is called a five passenger but it has two seat platforms that pull out of the back of the front seat so the car can hold seven people easily. You will see extreme quality in this Lincoln with mohair interior, mahogany vanities, Waltham clocks, custom wood steering wheel and nickel and silver plating throughout. This car has close to 400 cubic inches under the hood and its mighty V-8 would pass most other old cars of that day. It’s very powerful up hills and stops very good with its giant four-wheel brakes. This Lincoln has an outstanding restoration that was done 20 some years ago and is still in excellent condition. It is ready for car shows or family outings. A great car for classic car club events and a show stopper at any Concours d’Elegance.
