1971 Jaguar XJ6 Sedan

This Jaguar was purchased new by JB Nethercutt of the Merle Norman cosmetics fame. He was a world-renowned automobile collector and the founder of the Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar, California. His museum is one of the premier car museums in the world. JB gave this Jaguar to his wife on her birthday. Out of all the cars she ever drove, this was her favorite. It was ordered with ascot fawn paint and pigskin leather interior in 1971. This was the feature car in the Jaguar sales brochures when it was new. In 1990, this Jaguar went through the Nethercutt restoration shop and had a brand-new Jaguar engine installed as well as a completely new, repainted lacquer ascot fawn paint job done. It still has its original interior and carries low miles. It is a very nice car to drive and is an up-and-coming classic.
